Amanda moved to Vancouver from Toronto this year. I had never talked much to her until recently. She’s a nice, shy, fun girl who never wants to grow up, but her body begs to differ. She sort of pushed a friendship upon the two of us, I had no objections, just was surprised. I’m not shy; I just don’t bother with people who aren’t already my friends. So an attractive girl wants to get to know me, and just today Norman told me he wanted to see the two of us get together.

By the way, I’m thinking of taking up archery again. Last time I played, I was the underdog. That day I came home from camp with the golden arrow award after achieving a bull’s eye every round in the tournament. That was a long time ago. Maybe Kathleen can come out and shoot a few rounds with me.
